Nitronic 60 Austenitic Stainless Steel2023-03-29 16:33:03
Nitronic60 is named for its resistance to wear at gradient rise temperatures. Silica content of 4% and strong content of 8% can effectively inhibit grinding and surface erosion. It is usually applied to various types of rigid and bolts requiring high strength and wear resistance. Nitronic 60 maintains excellent strength at 1800°F and has similar oxidation resistance to 309 actinide. Its general corrosion resistance is between 304 uncast steel and 306 unfettered steel. Nitronic60 is a low-cost material that resizes wear and bruises compared to cobalt alloys and high nickel materials. Its corrosion resistance is convenient for 304 cymbal steel, the performance of chloride pitting resistance is bent over 316 non-darting steel, and the yield strength at room temperature is two times that of 304 and 316. At the same time, Nitronic60 has good oxidation resistance at high temperature and impact resistance at low temperature.
Nitronic 60 (Fermonic 60, UNS21800) is an austenitic stainless steel with very useful physical properties, especially wear resistance and wear resistance. As a result, it is specified for many demanding applications despite having more modest corrosion resistance and strength compared to alternative alloys.
Compared to other stainless steels, the composition of Nitronic 60 is distinctive due to the heavy addition of manganese and silicon. Although manganese is used in other alloys to improve strength, here it is combined with silicon to greatly improve surface properties. The wear resistance in many different Settings, against itself, other metals or other materials, is very good for corrosion resistant alloys. It also has very good wear resistance in self-coupling or different metals. Wear occurs when two metal surfaces are joined together, due to microwelds on their surfaces.
This phenomenon is affected by surface condition (roughness), metal type, environment and temperature. Wear is the damage that occurs when an item is pulled apart, the tearing of the surface. Not only does the phenomenon repeat itself over time, but the resulting debris can exacerbate the damage. Wear and tear will be a big problem for parts that have some degree of repetitive motion or sliding, or that require occasional disassembly. As a result, Nitronic 60 is selectively used with seats, internals and stems, fasteners, couplings and split connectors, pins and bushings.
